Michigan Window Tint Disclaimer

By choosing to have window tint installed, you acknowledge that Michigan vehicle laws place restrictions on tint applied to the front side windows and windshield to the upper 4 inches only. In Michigan, the primary legal concern is not the darkness (percentage) of the tint, but the presence of aftermarket tint on the front driver and passenger windows at all. Vehicles with tint applied to these windows that falls outside of regulations may be subject to traffic stops, citations, fix-it tickets, or requirements to remove the film, regardless of the tint shade selected.

Rear side windows and the rear windshield are legal to tint in Michigan at any percentage, provided the vehicle is equipped with both left and right side mirrors.

It is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner/operator to understand and comply with all applicable state and local laws. By authorizing installation, you agree that Premier Auto Films and Detailing is not liable for fines, citations, inspections, or required removal related to window tint.
